Natural Resources

Alaska is one of the most beautiful, and resource rich places in the world. There are many professions that give you a chance to explore the rugged complexities of Alaska's natural resources and introduce students to a career in forestry, land management, and wildland firefighting. Students combine knowledge obtained in the classroom with hands-on field experience in the pursuit of best practices in natural resource management.  Students enrolled in the Natural Resources Pathway also have the opportunity to earn their wildland firefighting red card.
